ACURIL Award for Green Education Initiative

The National Library of Aruba received an award at the annual congress of The Association of Caribbean University, Research and Institutional Libraries (ACURIL) held 9-14 June, 2013 in Puerto Rico. The library was distinguished with The Albertina Pérez de Rosa Excellence Award 2013, for its proactive role in extending the island’s transition programme to its citizens.

The Award recognizes and honors the excellent performance of alliance and collaborative efforts of local or regional information units as communities of practice, or by private enterprises, evidenced through the implementation of successful information projects for the benefit of their clienteles in the Caribbean.
